We participated in National Night Out this week. National Night Out is a night of food, fun and making new friends. The Police Department sponsored this event at Cyprus park for neighbors to get to know each other and the services in their community. We set up a table, gave away sunscreen and talked about the Coalition and the Speakers’ Bureau. We met some great people in the community, from police officers to professors to adorable kids with face paint and cotton candy. Our friend Norman joined us as did Vice President of the Board of Directors of VFCCH Dave Evans! What a great way to get our message out!
